A cracked supply line at 2am, a water heater that quit on a Sunday, a slab leak that's been climbing your water bill for weeks — whatever brought you here, our Hickman-based crews are already staged and ready to roll.
Behind Street Wise - Plumbing is a crew of journeyman and master plumbers who've worked on everything from century-old cast iron to brand-new PEX systems. We're insured for the job, licensed in KY, and we stand behind every repair with a written warranty.
Our dispatchers know the neighborhoods of Hickman well enough to tell you roughly what's driving a call before the truck even arrives — older sections tend toward galvanized pipe issues, newer builds toward fixture and appliance connections.
We keep a small, accountable roster rather than a rotating pool of subcontractors — the technician you talk to on the phone is trained to the same standard as the one who'll actually be standing in your Hickman kitchen.
A surprising number of the emergency calls we take in Hickman started as something small three or four days earlier. Here's what tends to escalate fast.
When water's actively coming out somewhere it shouldn't, minutes matter more than money. Our on-call technicians in Hickman are dispatched with the parts and equipment to handle burst pipes, failed water heaters, and overflowing fixtures on the first trip.
From a running toilet that's quietly inflating your water bill to a full re-pipe of an older Hickman home, our residential team handles the everyday and the extensive with the same attention to detail.
Restaurants, offices, and retail spaces in Hickman, KY can't afford extended downtime over a plumbing issue. Our commercial team is equipped for grease trap service, backflow testing, and multi-fixture repairs on a schedule that respects your operating hours.
Our drain team runs camera line inspections before recommending anything invasive, so you're not paying for a dig-up when a hydro-jetting service would clear it.
Whether it's a pilot light that won't stay lit or a full tank-to-tankless conversion, our technicians are certified on both gas and electric systems common in Hickman, KY homes.
Rather than opening walls on a hunch, our technicians run listening equipment across the suspected line first, marking the leak within a foot or two before any cutting begins.
We replace failing shutoff valves and supply lines as part of fixture work rather than reconnecting new fixtures to old, brittle hardware that's likely to fail next.
A live dispatcher takes your call, gets a read on the urgency, and starts routing the nearest available technician.
We route the closest qualified technician in Hickman, and you'll get a realistic arrival window instead of a vague "sometime today."
Your technician diagnoses the issue and walks you through the fix and the flat price before starting, so there's no guessing at the invoice.
The repair is completed, the work area is cleaned up, and you're handed a written warranty on both parts and labor.
We quote the job, not the hour, so a repair that takes longer than expected doesn't cost you more.
Because our trucks are already staged around Hickman, KY, we're rarely the "next week" plumber.
We're happy to have every technician show ID and license on arrival; it's a standard we hold ourselves to, not a special request.
Our workmanship warranty means the fix is expected to hold — and if it doesn't, that's on us to correct, not you.
